Lynnderella Ruby Red Ruby, from the 2010 Holiday Collection, is so stunning. I don't normally wear a glittler for my whole mani, but I decided to try it with RRR. So glad I did. It looks so good and boy did I get some compliments! I used OPI Ali's Big Break from the Holiday 2010 Burlesque Collection for my underwear. They're a perfect match. I can't get enough red polish and it isn't even December yet!

Zoya Isla
Zoya Isla is perfect for Christmas time!
Zoya Isla from the 2009 Truth Collection is a deep shimmery red that works perfect for the Christmas holiday season. It's one of those shimmers that seems to glow from within. I got so many compliments on this! I've worn this a few times already and I can guarantee I'll be wearing it again before Christmas is over. I've learned that with Zoya, if I use their Anchor and Armor I get better wear time. I used to use SV and as I've come to find out, they don't play well together. I would get chips the same day I did the mani. For my QDTC I use Poshe with Zoya.

OPI DS Vintage
OPI DS Vintage is a lovely peachy pink holographic.
From the Fall of 2006 Designer Series Collection, OPI DS Vintage is a peachy pink scattered holographic. It's such a pretty shade. I really enjoy wearing this one. It goes well with my skin tone too. It has a strong holo effect and has good wear time. Application is smooth as can be. You can't ask for a better polish. Love, love, love OPI DS oldies <3

Color Club Overboard with Dollish Polish I'm A Material Girl
Color Club Overboard with Dollish Polish I'm A Material Girl accent nail.
Color Club Overboard, 2008 Yacht Collection, is kind of a "crelly". Which is to say it's a cream that looks squishy and super shiny like a jelly does, but with pigment like a creme. I absolutely love this shade of pink. It's probably my favorite shade to wear. And also why I have many dupes. OPI Koala Bear-Y, China Glaze Fuchsia Fanatic just to name a couple off the top of my head. Love the way this color works with my skin tone. And it's just so dang pretty.
Dollish Polish I'm A Material Girl, 2012 Music Series, is an indie. I had to wait a good while before I was able to add this to my collection. Indies are quickly sold out most of the time. I got lucky with this one though and found it in a blog sale. Happy to have it in my collection finally. It's a bit thick. I had to blob the polish on my nail and then move it around with an orange wood stick to get the glitter where I wanted it. I also had to fish some out to get all that I wanted onto the nail. Since I usually only add glitter to accent nails I don't mind the trouble at all. The payoff is well worth it. Super cute and fun. All in all I was really happy how this mani turned out.

Zoya Kiki
Had a great Thanksgiving. I wanted bright pretty nails for today so I chose Zoya Kiki.
Zoya Kiki is from the summer 2006 Glitterati Collection. It's really bright! Maybe a little too bright for my taste. It's super pretty though. Once I figured out SV doesn't work with Zoya and started using Zoya Anchor and Armor and changed to Poshe QDTC my Zoya mani's last much longer.

Max Factor Fantasy Fire
Happy Thanksgiving! My Thanksgiving mani is one coat of Max Factor Fantasy Fire over two coats of Orly Liquid Vinyl.
I can not say in words how much I HATE polishing with black. It's a mess. It stains. It's horrible to clean up and the only thing worse is removing it! Bleh.
BUT...Oh. My. Heck! Look how gorgeous.
Totally worth the extra time I spent. I will be wearing this mani all weekend :)

China Glaze Fuchsia Fanatic
China Glaze Fuchsia Fanatic is a dream come true polish for me. It looks gorgeous, the formula is perfect and it wears really well.
China Glaze Fuchsia Fanatic is from the Electropop Collection from spring 2012. This is a bit brighter in real life. Truly fuchsia. I love berry red polishes. Can not get enough of them.
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving :)

Zoya Blaze
Zoya Blaze is one of those berry reds that I am always drawn to. I simply adore it.
Zoya Blaze is from the Ornate Collection for Holiday 2012. It's a berry red with holographic glitter that isn't glittery or textured at all. It's very much like OPI Extravagance but darker. And more holographic as well. I wish my pictures showed this beauty better. They simply don't do Blaze justice.

My very first ombre. And it's pink. Of course :)
I've been wanting to do an ombre manicure for a while now. I was a little intimidated with it. I have a lot of polish, so I wasn't concerned with having the right colors. More like concerned with going through my stash to actually decide which to use. It took me a while. But here's what I came up with.
I'm super duper in love with it. I love cremes. They're so shiny and classy looking. These are the colors I used:
Thumb: OPI Koala Bear-y (2007 Australia Collection)
Index: China Glaze Wicked Style (2012 Electropop Colletion)
Middle: China Glaze Laced Up (2009 Kicks Collection)
Ring: Color Club In Bloom (2010 All About Color Collection)
Pinky: Color Club In Bloom mixed with Wet N Wild Wild Shine French White Creme

OPI DS Desire
I died a little when I wore this the first time. And a little more each time I wear it. I try not to wear it too often for fear I'll end up all the way dead o.O
Seriously, it's that gorgeous.
OPI Ds Desire from the 2007 Designer Series Collection. I wanna wear it every day. Coppery brown holo-licious goodness. This is one that's so dang pretty I could just eat it. OK, not really. I'd never eat polish. But, seriously. Gorgeous.
The holographic effect on Desire is amazing. Why doesn't OPI make the DS series holos like this anymore?
I use the DS Top Coat with the DS series holos. It keeps them shiny, helps them last longer and doesn't dull the holo effect.
Win, win, win :)

Sally Hansen Amber Ruby
Sally Hansen Amber Ruby is a multi chrome oldie but goodie.
Sally Hansen Amber Ruby is a nice color. I don't think it's necessarily flattering on my skin tone, which is odd due to the color flashes it gives, but it was just okay for my taste. It flashes red/orange/gold/green. I wasn't able to capture the green at all. I did see it while wearing it, but never when I was able to get a picture. It's very unique in my collection, but not one I'll be wearing again any time soon. Which bums me out because I was so excited when I found it. Oh well, first world problems, right?

Man Glaze Fuggen Ugly Stamped
Good morning! I couldn't bear to take Fuggen Ugly off! So, I stamped it and wore it another day :)
For the stamping I used China Glaze Admire from the 2009 Romantique Collection. I love how it turned out. And despite my reservations, the stamping lasted really well without top coat. I used the B54 plate from Born Pretty.

Man Glaze Fuggen Ugly
Another Man Glaze, another interesting name. This one is Fuggen Ugly. That's the name, not my description :) See for yourself...
Man Glaze Fuggen Ugly is a matte polish. Comparable to what OPI calls their Suede line. The difference in matte vs. suede is matte is a creme and suede is a shimmer. As you can see in the lovely grey coloring is silver shimmer. I really love this one. Suedes or mattes with shimmer are my favorite. In fact without the shimmer I don't really care for matte.
The application on Fuggen Ugly was superb. You do have to apply it quicker than you would a normal polish because it does dry so fast. I don't mind! I love the fast drying aspect.
Man Glaze polish can be purchased here. Keep in mind they have adult content on their site. If you're easily offended you might want to proceed with caution. Also, if you're worried about the adult nature of the polish names, you can buy them with non adult names.

National World Diabetes Day
November 14 is National Diabetes Day. This is something really important to me and my family. My grandmother, my mother and my sister all have diabetes. My sister is insulin dependent. She was diagnosed with diabetes at age 9. She's now 32. So, for most of her life she's been dealing with this disease. Blue is the color that represents diabetes and so, for my sister, I did this mani

Color Club Blue Heaven with Nail-Venturous Pinkerbell accent artificial light |
Color Club Blue Heaven is from the just released Halo Hues Collection. It's actually a blue I can wear without having lobster hands. I find holographic blues to be more compatible with my skin tone. As a rule I can't wear cool colors well. I'm glad I can at least wear blue this way. I really love blue polish.
I used indie seller Nail-Venturous' Pinkerbell for my accent. Boy did I lem this one for a while! It was SO hard to get my hands on it. So happy I finally have it in my collection.
Application for the CC Holos was good. I was in a hurry so I used SV top coat with these and I feel like it dulled the effect a bit. But it still looks amazing.I NEED a QDTC to use with my holos. I think I'm going to try SH Diamond Flash. I've heard it works well with linear holos.
