OPI Houston We Have a Purple from the Spring 2011 Texas Collection in which they introduced the sorbet finish. Fancy name for jelly :) Behold the beauty of this squishy, ultra shiny, lovely, jelly finish. I LOVE this type of finish. HWHAP is more a reddish purple, but for me that's a plus because it works well with my skin tone. Six of the twelve in that collection were sorbet. They're very sheer. Very. But that is the point of this type of finish. If you don't like the sheer but love the shiny, squishy finish, fear not. You can use a similar shade creme as a base, aka "underwear", or do as I did and do three coats. It was mostly opaque with three coats. Opaque enough for me anyway. I don't have this whole collection. I have all six of the sorbet finishes and Austin-tatious Tuquise (also lovely but that's another post ;).
My accent nail.. Oh Em Gee! OPI Mad As A Hatter from the spring 2010 Alice in Wonderland Collection. The glitter in this is insane. It's like a rainbow of glitter and so sparkly. I used Gelous before Seche Vite to make it smooth. I think a coat of Gelous under FDTC is the best way to smooth glitters.
