Zoya Maura

Red nail polish. I love wearing red nail polish. It always makes me feel so good. I don't know why. I look at my hands and see my pretty red nails and I smile. This is why we do our nails, right?

Zoya Maura, from the 2010 Sparkle and Flash collection, is a cherry red creme. It's bright and shiny and everything a red polish should be. Application and wear are Zoya standard...great, of course. I have nothing but love for Zoya.

OPI Suede Collection

OPI released the Suede Collection in the fall of 2009. They were instantly popular. I personally love them! As promised here is the entire collection. It's picture heavy so I put the pictures after the break.

OPI You Don't Know Jacques Suede

This is the final OPI Suede, so I'll be posting the entire collection together soon.

OPI You Don't Know Jacques Suede is another from the 2009 Suedes collection. It's a nice medium shade of brown with golden shimmer. Basically, it's freakin' gorgeous. I cannot stop staring at this on my nails. It's very unique not just that it's a suede but the golden shimmer is as well. It's just TDF. I used my normal procedure when I wear suedes in that I didn't follow the rule of no underwear. I always put ChG strong adhesion, treatment then a coat of SV. I feel like it helps it wear longer, but most importantly it protects my nails. I'm never gonna put color on my nails without base coat. Ever.

OPI Y'all Come Back Ya Hear?

I think this is the final sorbet from the Texas collection. I will doing a post with all the Texas sorbet together soon.

OPI Y'all Come Back Ya Hear? is from the 2011 Texas collection. It's a medium orange sorbet. Also known as a jelly. It's a typical sheer jelly with awesome shine. I did 4 coats and still have a little VNL, but that doesn't bother me at all. Look how shiny and squishy it looks. It's lovely.

Butter London Wallis

Butter London Wallis

Butter London Wallis is a 2011 Autumn/Winter collection release. People went kind of crazy over this one. Including me. Who could resist. It's stunning! Sparkly golden green shimmer in this lovely olive green. I don't know if this looks exceptional with my skin tone, but that isn't going to ever stop me from wearing this and loving it!

OPI Russian Navy Suede

I have one more suede left to show after this. Then I plan to do a suede collection post with all of them. Today, though, it's all about Russian Navy Suede

OPI Russian Navy Suede was released in the fall of 2009 in the Suedes collection. Application isn't bad considering it's a suede. I am quick with it so it isn't an issue. If you apply too slowly yoou might have trouble. My trick is to keep enough polish on the brush to cover the nail. If you have to go back to the bottle you might get in trouble. Wear isn't bad. But I break the rules. You're supposed to wear this with no base and no top coat. I always use base with everything. I don't care what the rules are I'm not putting color on my bare nails. And especially not blue. So I use my usual China Glaze Strong Adhesion, my treatment and then a coat of Seche Vite. Then apply my suede.
OPI Russian Suede is absolutely gorgeous. When I wear this I cannot stop looking at my hands. This color is so blanking gorgeous everyone notices it. I get comments and compliments every. single. time. It looks like denim. And this country girl loves her denim :)

OPI Queen Of West Web-erly

This is another shade that reminds me of my teenage years, much like OPI My Big Break. I loved colors like this back then. Well, truthfully I still do. You can't change who ya are I guess...

OPI Queen Of West Web-erly is a reddish purple with silver shimmer. It was released in the 2009 Valentine's Day Collection. This was my favorite type of polish when I was a teenager. So, when I got this it was instant love. I know it's probably not current or today's style but that's ok. I don't wear polish because it's current or the trend. I wear it because I like it and it makes me feel good. And happy :) So this is a forever keeper!

Etude House Grapefruit

This is the second of the two Etude House Ice Cream Nails collection I got a couple weeks ago.

Etude House Grapefruit is a peachy coral creme. It's a pretty shade. I like it a lot. It applies wonderful and wore just fine. As I mentioned here, I got these strictly for display because I love the ice cream cone bottles. They're just adorable. They look super cute on my display shelf.

Revlon Make Mine Mango

Another Revlon. I have a bunch of drug store polish and I hardly ever wear any of it. I've been digging in my drug store drawer and I think I'll be wearing some of it more often.

Revlon Make Mine Mango is a orangey coral creme from the core collection. It's a pretty color and I liked wearing it a lot. It's typical Revlon formula so it was a breeze to do my mani. This is a fun color.
