OPI 4 In The Morning with Push And Shove

OPI 4 In The Morning and OPI Push And Shove were both just released in the Gwen Stefani collection (January 2014).

Happy New Year!
OPI 4 In The Morning is a black base with subtle silver shimmer in a satin finish. Oh my heck I love this satin matte finish. I fell in love with the satin finish with OPI This Gown Needs A Crown so I was really looking forward to trying the satin finishes in Gwen's collection. 4ITM doesn't disappoint! It is just so classy looking and smooth. I had no trouble with the wear time either. I wore it 3 days and took it off with only one tiny chip on the tip of my thumb nail.
OPI Push And Shove is a silver chrome that is totally...amazingly...awesome. Love this polish. It applied perfect, dried quick and I wore it 3 days with no chipping at all. I have read it chips really easily. The box actually says, and I quote: "Like all limited engagement events, Push and Shove is intended for One Night Only wear." I didn't have any trouble at all. I did use my normal application procedure for non top coat polish. 1 coat of each: China Glaze Strong Adhesion, NailTek II Intensive Therapy, NailTek II Foundation and a coat of Seche Vite to get it nice a dry. Then I did the Lay It Down Base and 2 coats of Push And Shove. I do this for texture polish, satin, matte and anything I don't use topcoat on. It works like a dream and lasts a lot longer than anything else I've ever tried. I love this mani so much I know I will repeat it, and soon!
